             abstract = "No Estado do Par{\'a}, um dos munic{\'{\i}}pios mais 
                         din{\^a}micos no processo de mudan{\c{c}}as de uso da Terra 
                         {\'e} Paragominas, localizado no sudeste paraense. O trabalho tem 
                         como objetivo apresentar as transi{\c{c}}{\~o}es de 
                         mudan{\c{c}}as no uso e cobertura da Terra nas desflorestadas do 
                         munic{\'{\i}}pio de Paragominas entre os anos de 2004 e 2014. 
                         Para tal, foram utilizados os dados do projeto TerraClass, 
                         adotando-se as seguintes classes: Agricultura, Demais Classes, 
                         Floresta, Pastagem e Vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o Secund{\'a}ria. Os 
                         resultados evidenciaram que houve 930,2 kmē de {\'a}reas 
                         desflorestadas que converteram-se em pastagem (467,6 kmē), 
                         vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o secund{\'a}ria (222,9 kmē) e agricultura 
                         (78,2 kmē). Em Paragominas a antropiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o de 
                         {\'a}reas florestais ocorria na convers{\~a}o de florestas para 
                         pastagem e vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o secund{\'a}ria. Mais 
                         recentemente, est{\'a} ocorrendo um processo de convers{\~a}o de 
                         {\'a}reas, tanto florestais quanto pastagem, para agricultura. 
                         ABSTRACT: In the State of Par{\'a}, one of the most dynamic 
                         municipalities in the process of land use change is Paragominas, 
                         located in southeast Paraense. The objective of this work is to 
                         present the transitions of changes in land use and land cover in 
                         the deforested areas of the municipality of Paragominas between 
                         the years of 2004 and 2014. For this purpose, the TerraClass data 
                         were used, adopting the following classes: Agriculture, Other 
                         Classes, Forest, Pasture and Secondary Vegetation. The results 
                         showed that there were 930.2 kmē of deforested areas that became 
                         pasture (467.6 kmē), secondary vegetation (222.9 kmē) and 
                         agriculture (78.2 kmē). The highlight was the expansion of 
                         agricultural areas, which grew by approximately 534%. In 
                         Paragominas the anthropization of forest areas occurred in the 
                         conversion to pasture and secondary vegetation. More recently, a 
                         process of conversion of areas, both forest and pasture, has been 
                         taking place for agricultural grain crops.",
